Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (NOH-vitch; Polish: born November 8 in 1985) is a Canadian actress from Canada. Her roles include Andy Jensen, on ABC Family's Kyle XY, and Lacy Rand on Syfy's short-lived science fiction drama Caprica. Emily Hartwell (born Maya Hartwell), is her sci-fi series Continuum. Recently, she was a part of Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz is of Polish descent and spent a time in Poland in the 9th grade. She lived along with her uncle. She also attended a school in Jelenia Gora. In the following years, she attended Vancouver Film School. She started her acting career at 10 years old after her father introduced her to Pulp Fiction. Her acting career began in 2002 by appearing on the TV series Jeremiah and John Doe.From 2007 until 2009 she portrayed the role of Andy Jensen on Kyle XY. In 2008, she played as Andy Jensen in Every Second Counts on the Hallmark Channel. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast to play Lacy Rand in Caprica's telecast drama featuring Eric Stoltz & Alessandra Turresani. Hellcats was her next appearance. In 2012, she guest starred in the second season of Jane Espenson's web-based romantic comedy series, Husbands.In 2013, Apanowicz was cast as Emily in the series Continuum Also, she appeared in the Eli Roth horror film The Green Inferno as Samantha. The Green Inferno, although it was film in 2012, was released globally in the year the year 2015. Apanowicz was cast to be the character Angela in Volition an science fiction thriller film.
