Emily Swallow

Emily Swallow (born December 18, 1979) is an American actress. Her most well-known roles include her role in The Mentalist's Kim Fischer and Supernatural's 11th season as Amara and The Darkness. She was also the Armorer in Star Wars' live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily played one small part in The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born 18 December, 1979, in Washington, D.C. She was raised in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. She began her acting career in the Stanton College Preparatory School, Jacksonville when she was a student. Swallow graduated from Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville in 2001 with an Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Eastern Studies. She was then able to go on to study to earn an MFA in Acting at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2008 she made her feature film debut with The Lucky Ones, a military-themed drama. She was in two world premieres: Donald Margulies' play The Country House, Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse; and Mark Rylance's play Nice Fish, at the Guthrie Theatre. In 2010, she won the Falstaff Award as best female actor for her performance in The Taming of the Shrew. She also starred alongside Jac Huberman in Jac N Swallow's musical romance Poetry at the Manhattan Theater Club. The show revolves around their hilarious mishaps when they face various life situations.
